About me
I paint the quiet detail of the natural world.
A short note on how I got here and the way I like to work.

I am a botanical artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I work mainly in botanical watercolour and enjoy painting plants, flowers, fruits and natural objects. My work is inspired by the colours, shapes and details found in nature.
For me, flowers represent both growth and decline, movement and stillness. Painting them gives me an opportunity to observe the diversity of life and our relationship with the natural world. It is a way of paying attention to the small details that are often overlooked and appreciating the resilience and beauty found in living things.
I aim to create paintings that are both accurate and expressive, encouraging people to slow down and take a closer look at the natural world.
